I recently found this article about the importance of window safety in rental properties.  It said that between 1990 and 2008 there were an estimated 98,415 children treated for falls from windows at U.S. emergency rooms.  And unfortunately, the numbers are rising.  Property managers should be aware and up-to-date on window safety, and this article from Inman gives 7 ways to improve window safety at your rental properties.
