The latest Core Logic real estate tracker report notes that San Diego County home prices are still rising. They reported that the median home price in October 2016 exceeded $500,000 for the first time in ten years. The median price for a San Diego County home hit $507,500, up 11 percent from a year ago. The San Diego Union Tribune is reporting that the San Diego County median home price dropped to $495,000 in September, a drop from August but still strong for a time of year that is typically slow.
